Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein attended the ‘Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh’ at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, Itanagar. Organized by the State’s Planning & Investment Department and NITI Aayog, the event celebrated achievements under the Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programmes. Mein described the campaign as a mission to deliver government schemes effectively, converting aspirations into measurable results. He lauded Namsai district’s progress from 97th to 12th position among 112 districts, crediting administrative dedication and community support. He praised officials of Chongkham and Lekang blocks for achieving 100% KPI saturation and urged full KPI coverage in Namsai, Tali, Chongkham, and Pongchau by December 2025. Mein announced visits to Tali and Pongchau this winter to review progress. Emphasizing rigorous monitoring of flagship schemes, he acknowledged the commitment of all stakeholders. He also launched ‘Akanksha Haat’, a week-long exhibition of SHG and local entrepreneurial products, calling it a symbol of community empowerment and rural economic growth.
