Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of PREPAK (Pro) identified as Wairokpam Atu Meitei @ Boiton (22) of Phoijing Tera Makhong under Nambol Police Station, Bishnupur district from his locality yesterday. A mobile phone was seized from him.
On the same day, Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of PREPAK, namely Malem Heisnam @ Ngaiba (21) of Karang Maning Leikai, under Keibul Lamjao-PS, Bishnupur district from Thanga Chingang Play ground area, under Keibul Lamjao Police Station, Bishnupur district. Security forces also arrested an extortionist, a woman active cadre of RPF/PLA, identified as Chabungbam Thaibema Devi (49) @ Medha of Tera Loukrakpam Leikai under Lamphel Police Station, Imphal West district from her residence.
From her possession, extortion money amounting a sum of Rs.1 lakh), one mobile handset and one Aadhaar card were recovered.
Manipur Police also arrested an active cadre of KCP (Taibanganba), identified as Thangjam Tomba Meitei @ Bikash (31) of Laingoubi Awang Leikai presently staying at Wangoo Ahallup Awang Leikai from the locality of his current residence under Kumbi Police Station, Bishnupur district.
