Free Medical Camp Held for School Students

Arapti Junior High School, in collaboration with Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic and Apollo Diagnostic, located at Lilong Bazar, has organised a free medical check-up camp on the premises of the school in Arapti Mayai Leikai. The camp was sponsored by Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic. It provided free medical check-ups for the school’s students, their family members, and the local residents. Dr. Konthoujam Rishikanta Singh of Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic, who participated in the camp, stated that the Ayush clinic was established with the aim of providing treatment without side effects to the people of the region. The idea behind organizing this free medical camp was to ensure that the students, who are considered the future generation, should maintain good health.

A total of 4 doctors examined 207 students, family members, and local residents at the camp. The free medical check-up camp held today provided treatment for various ailments, including allergies, sinusitis, fever, gastric problems, liver and kidney issues, heart and mental health problems, and gynecological issues. Medicines were also distributed free of charge.

The headmaster of the school, Soibam Sachikumar, mentioned that the free medical camp was organized to protect the students from falling sick. Konsham Mormon, the Chairman of the School’s Managing Committee, expressed his appreciation to Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic and Apollo Diagnostic for organizing the camp.
