Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla co-led a high-level review meeting alongside Union Minister for the Development of the North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, to evaluate the progress of development initiatives in Manipur.
The meeting was attended by senior state officials, including Chief Secretary P.K. Singh, and Minister Scindia, who assessed the results from a prior meeting.
The key sectors that were discussed encompassed the revitalization of traditional industries in Manipur, tourism, transportation, palm oil cultivation, logistics infrastructure, investment promotion, and rural development.
Minister Scindia and Governor Bhalla emphasized the importance of timely execution in a review meeting, urging state departments to address bottlenecks and accelerate project completions. The meeting emphasized the Centre’s focus on achieving measurable progress across multiple sectors.
