Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, along with Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, co-chaired a review meeting today through video conferencing at the Conference Hall, Lok Bhavan, Imphal, to discuss the overall development of Polo in Manipur.
The meeting reviewed the proposals submitted by the State Government regarding the comprehensive development plan for Polo in Manipur. The Union Minister advised the team to structure the proposal in a phased manner, and ensuring talent from various districts is picked up based on geographic clusters and linking them to centre of excellence.
The Governor assured that his suggestions will be incorporated into the forthcoming stages of planning and implementation.
The meeting emphasised efficiency and result-oriented implementation to accelerate overall development in the State. Chief Secretary, Secretary to Governor and senior officers were present during the review.
