On the auspicious occasion of Good Friday, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all, especially to the Christian brethren of the state.
“Good Friday marks the crucifixion of Lord Jesus Christ, who made the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of humanity. This sacred day invites us to reflect deeply on the enduring values of unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness, and selflessness embodied in His life and teachings. It reminds us of the strength of faith and the triumph of good over evil,” the governor said in a message.
“As we observe this holy day, let us renew our commitment to these noble ideals and strive to build a society rooted in peace, understanding, and mutual respect. May this occasion inspire us to extend kindness to one another and work collectively for the welfare of all,” the governor said.
Chief Minister Y. Khemchand also extended his heartfelt greetings to the people, especially the Christian brethren, on the occasion of Good Friday.
In a message, Chief Minister Khemchand said, “This sacred day commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and reminds us of His profound message of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and compassion for humanity. The observance of Good Friday inspires us to reflect upon these timeless values and encourages us to uphold peace, humility, and service to others in our daily lives.”
The chief minister said, “Manipur has always been known for its rich cultural diversity and communal harmony. Occasions such as Good Friday strengthen the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and understanding among people of different faiths and communities in our state.”
“May this solemn day inspire all of us to walk the path of righteousness, compassion, and harmony and work together for a peaceful and progressive Manipur,” he wished.
On the solemn occasion of Good Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen also extended her heartfelt greetings to all the people, especially to Christian brethren.
“This sacred day reminds us of the profound sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who laid down his life for the redemption of humanity. His act of unconditional love, forgiveness, and compassion continues to inspire generations across the world,” the deputy chief minister said in her message.
“May this Good Friday encourage us to reflect upon the values of humility, kindness, and selflessness and guide us to lead a life rooted in truth, peace, and righteousness,” she prayed.
