About Kannappa
Vishnu has referred to Kannappa as his dream project for many years, first mentioning it nearly a decade ago. The film draws inspiration from the story of a hunter named Thinnadu, who, despite being an atheist, becomes one of Lord Shiva’s most devoted followers. It is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.

Following the film’s release, Vishnu addressed the media in Hyderabad, where he stated that the team had to forgo some quality scenes due to poor visual effects. “This has been a significant lesson for me. It is such a lesson that I will ensure I do not make that mistake again. However, many viewers of the film were unaware of this issue. The team felt relieved that it did not seem to bother anyone,” Vishnu remarked.
