Campaigning for the BJP in Assam’s Cachar district in run-up to the Assembly elections, Manipur Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh today said the NDA government has ushered in significant strides in infrastructure development and governance in thestate, and Assam is poised to emerge as a robust and dynamic region. Addressing a public meeting at Rongpur in support of BJP candidate from Udharbond constituency Rajdeep Goala, the Manipur CM said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking India forward, and Himanta Biswa Sarma has transformed Assam.”
He said the overwhelming presence of supporters clearly reflected the strong confidence of the people in Sarma’s leadership. “Over the past decade, the NDA Government in Assam has ushered in significant strides in infrastructure development and governance. With sustained efforts towards progress and decisive actions, including addressing the issue of illegal migration, Assam stands poised to emerge as a robust and dynamic state, not only in the Northeast but across the nation,” Khemchand said. “Let us come together to support this vision of growth and stability.
