Manipur Technical University (MTU) achieved a significant academic milestone with the official release of the first edition of its University Newsletter, “NEXUS – Education with Impact.” The release ceremony was held at the university campus immediately following the successful conclusion of the Swadeshi Run, symbolically aligning physical well-being, self-reliance, and intellectual growth.
The inaugural edition was formally unveiled by the Vice-Chancellor of Manipur Technical University, in the presence of the Registrar, Chief Finance Officer (CFO), and Prof. Kananbala Sarangthem, Head of the Department of Botany, Manipur University as Special Guest. The occasion was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and students, reflecting the collective spirit and academic vibrancy of the MTU community.
The newsletter is the outcome of the dedicated efforts of the University Editorial Team, led by Editor Kosygin Leishangthem, with the support of Sub-Editors Dr. L. Iboyaima, Y. Chandrika, and Angom Teresa, and Editorial Team Member Hijam Harish. Their collaborative contribution was acknowledged during the event as a step forward in strengthening institutional documentation, communication, and knowledge dissemination.
The first edition of NEXUS – Education with Impact presents a comprehensive snapshot of MTU’s recent academic, research, and institutional developments. It features articles and reports highlighting technical insights, faculty achievements, workshops, outreach initiatives, and dynamic student activities. The publication reflects the University’s commitment to excellence in education, innovation, and societal relevance.
By releasing the newsletter in conjunction with the Swadeshi Run, the University underscored its holistic vision of education—integrating physical fitness, self-reliance, and intellectual pursuit—setting a progressive tone for the academic year ahead.
