A one-day health camp organized by Shija Eye Care Foundation, Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd., NPCB & VI, Manipur Chapter, and the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union took place at Manipur Press Club. The camp’s goal was to enhance preventive healthcare and ensure early diagnosis of common medical issues for media personnel and their families. Around 55 journalists and their family members participated, receiving free consultations and health assessments. Ophthalmic evaluations were performed by Dr. Dinakumar Yambem and Dr. Chakpram Priyalakshmi, while general health consultations were offered by specialists from Shija Hospitals’ Department of Medicine. This initiative underscores the commitment to community outreach and partnership for public health improvement in the region.
