Mera Yuva Bharat, formerly known as NYKS, is executing the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, at three tiers: District, State, and National levels. The District Round competitions have concluded in 15 districts, where top five youths were selected from each district. The State Level Youth Parliament will feature 70 participants (26 male and 44 female) and takes place at Imphal Hotel, Sangai Hall on March 27 at 10:30 a.m. Its theme is “Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Indian Youth’s Path Towards Viksit Bharat 2047.” The inauguration will be led by Th. Satyabrata Singh, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, with W. Paulina Monsang, State Director of My Bharat, and Dr. Dhanabir Laishram, a Social Scientist, attending as President and Guest of Honour. Evaluation of the competitors will be conducted by five jury members from various universities and colleges. Prof. Chinglen Maisnam from Manipur University will oversee the parliament session, with Dr. Dhanabir Laishram serving as the Session Speaker. Participants selected from the District Level will report at 9:30 a.m. at Sangai Hall for verification and issuance of ID cards before registration, which will take place from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m.
