Thadou Inpi Manipur Mourns the Demise of MLA Vungzagin Valte

Thadou Inpi Manipur (TIM) expressed its deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Vungzagin Valte, former Minister and three-time MLA of 56-Thanlon (ST) Assembly Constituency (2012–2026) and former banker with the State Bank of India, who passed away on February 21 at Medanta Medicity Hospital, Gurugram. Valte was a rare and exemplary leader, humble, accessible, principled, and deeply understanding, who served as a true bridge among all communities in Manipur. He rose above narrow affiliations to become a mass leader dedicated to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and the welfare of every section of our society. His tireless efforts toward unity and harmony in our diverse state remain an enduring inspiration, said TIM in a press release.

The Thadou community will eternally cherish his steadfast solidarity and unwavering support during our most difficult periods. His courageous stand with us in times of grave challenge, along with his generous contributions and consistent presence at our gatherings, exemplified genuine friendship, concern, and conviction. These acts of kindness and solidarity forged a lasting bond that we will never forget, it said.
Manipur has lost a good and rare leader today, and his absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our shared pursuit of peace and understanding. His legacy of humility, bridge-building, and inclusive leadership will continue to guide us toward a more united future, it said.

Thadou Inpi Manipur extended sincere sympathies to his grieving family, loved ones, the people of Thanlon, and the entire Zomi/Paite community. May the Almighty grant eternal peace to his noble soul and divine comfort to all who mourn his loss, it wished.
