Security Forces arrested two alleged drug peddlers with brown sugar at T. Khullen, Naka Check Point under Senapati Police Station in Senapati district. According to police report, acting on specific inputs, security forces intercepted a four-wheeler vehicle at T. Khullen, Naka Check Point under Senapati-PS, Senapati district and arrested the drug peddlers with the contraband drug. The arrested persons were identified as Rahish Khan (22) and Mustakim Ahamad (23). Both residents of Irong Chesaba Mayai Leikai, Kakching district. 48 soap cases containing brown sugar weighing 660 gems, one four-wheeler, i20 bearing registration number AS01AP0631, two mobile phones and two Aadhaar cards were seized from their possession. On the other hand, Manipur Police arrested one Mohammad Warish Khan (28) of Khomidok Masjid Maning, Imphal East district for carrying contraband WY tablets from his locality under Heingang Police Station in Imphal East district on Friday. One three-wheeler (Auto) Black RE, bearing registration number AS-01 NC-0846, and WY tablets weighing 550 grams were recovered and seized from his possession. The arrested persons and the seized contrabands have been handed over to the concerned police stations for further necessary legal proceedings, police report said.
