1st AHPI Manipur free community health camp to be held on January 18

The Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) Manipur Chapter has announced the State-Wide 1st AHPI Free Community Health Camp, a community-focused initiative dedicated to making quality healthcare accessible to all. AHPI (India) is a leading NGO with about 20,000 member hospitals. AHPI Manipur Chapter was formed in March 2020, registered and now has 43 members hospitals and diagnostics. On January 18, participating member hospitals and diagnostic centers across the state will open their doors to provide subsidized medical care. However, Sky Hospital will conduct the camp on January 28.

It may be recalled that the AHPI Manipur Chapter has been actively engaged in public health initiatives since its inception. The Manipur Chapter of the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) was formed in March 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and currently represents 43 private member healthcare establishments across the state. Since its formation, the Chapter has played a proactive role in promoting public awareness on COVID-19, supporting government and community efforts to mitigate the impact of the pandemic. AHPI Manipur also actively participated in mass vaccination drives during the COVID-19 period, facilitating the vaccination of more than 1,000 beneficiaries through coordinated efforts of its member institutions. In addition to pandemic-related activities, AHPI Manipur continues to address emerging public health concerns. Notably, the Chapter organized a Conclave on “Climate Change and Human Health Challenges and Opportunities” on February 15, 2025, highlighting the growing intersection between environmental changes and health outcomes.
