After their recent meeting, actor Ram Charan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the bottom of his heart. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his support of archery in a special note and pledged to keep advancing the sport in order to represent India with honor on the international front. Ram Charan and his spouse, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, visited with Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi to thank him for the Archery Premier League (APL) inauguration, which was led by Anil Kamineni Garu. He even posted photos from the encounter on X, the platform that was once known as Twitter, along with the message, “It was an honor to meet Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi.”
Anil Kamineni Garu led the first Archery Premier League in history to glory. This is a tiny effort we are taking to promote archery globally and preserve its heritage. We wish all of the athletes the best of luck and hope that many more will take up this amazing sport. In response to the post, PM Modi wrote, “I’m glad to have met Anil Kamineni Garu and Upasana. Your combined efforts to promote archery are commendable and will help a great number of young people. @upasanakonidela with @AlwaysRamCharan.”
Ram Charan then responded to PM Modi by promising to continue promoting archery as a sport and provide it with a worldwide audience. “Thank you, Hon. Prime Minister, for the encouragement. We shall keep developing archery into a sport that represents India with pride around the world under your direction. @narendramodi Ji,” replied Ram Charan.
