Army and Assam Rifles conducted joint operations in Manipur, the arrest of 15 individuals

The Indian Army and Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Manipur Police, conducted joint operations across multiple districts in Manipur from July 29 to August 4. The operations involved the recovery of 69 weapons, 16 IEDs, grenades, and war-like stores. The operations began on July 28 when an active UNLF-P cadre was apprehended during an extortion attempt. A search operation in the Nobap forest near Chanbirok on July 29 led to the recovery of country-made weapons, IEDs, and explosives.
