Career Counselling Session Held at JNV Churachandpur

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Churachandpur witnessed an inspiring initiative on Monday when Khuga Battalion Assam Rifles organised a career counselling session for its students. The programme was designed to motivate and guide the youth towards meaningful career choices, with a special focus on opportunities in the Indian Army. An officer from Khuga Battalion delivered an engaging talk on the theme “Indian Army: A Way of Life”, acquainting students with the diverse avenues available in the armed forces. The session highlighted why the Indian Army remains a rewarding career option, emphasizing its values of discipline, leadership, courage and commitment. Students were introduced to various entry schemes such as the National Defense Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services (CDS), Short Service Commission (SSC), Technical Entry Scheme (TES) and other pathways that open doors to serving the nation. The interaction was attended by 60 students from classes VIII to XII, including 37 boys and 23 girls, along with the School Counsellor and the Principal, said a press release of IGAR(S).
