CM Khemchand attends valedictory function of Agrivision Agri Youth Parliament

Chief Minister Y Khemchand on Monday attended the valedictory function of Agri vision Agri Youth Parliament 2026 (Northeast Bharat) held at the Central Agricultural College (CAU), Imphal. The Agri vision Agri-Youth Parliament – 2026 was inaugurated by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at the college on March 21. Organized under the theme ‘Futuristic Agriculture for Northeast Bharat: Sustainability, Innovations and Opportunities,’ the three-day event focused on emerging research, technological advancements, and innovative solutions in agriculture and allied sectors.

In a social media post, Chief Minister Khemchand said, “Honored to attend as the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Function of AGRIVISION Agri Youth Parliament 2026 (Northeast Bharat) held at the Central Agricultural College (CAU), Imphal, in the esteemed presence of distinguished dignitaries and officials. The session concluded on a high note, marked by insightful deliberations and meaningful discussions on the future of agriculture in the region”. The Chief Minister commended the dedicated efforts of the faculty and students in advancing agricultural knowledge and innovation for the benefit of our farmers. Strengthening such initiatives is vital to enhancing productivity and ensuring food security, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat. “Together, we move forward towards a resilient, self-reliant, and farmer-centric future,” the Chief Minister said.
