In a recent meeting at the Secretariat, Ashish Bansal, General Manager of NF Railway Construction, along with his team, updated Chief Minister Y Khemchand on the progress of the railway line connecting Imphal. This project is key to enhancing Manipur’s transport infrastructure and connectivity, significantly contributing to a more efficient supply chain and improving the quality of life for residents, in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. The Chief Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to providing necessary support for the project’s timely completion, highlighting its potential for regional development and prosperity. Additionally, Nitin Bhatnagar, Executive Director at Indian Oil AOD, also met with the Chief Minister to address concerns regarding the supply and distribution of petroleum products. The Chief Minister reiterated the critical relationship between reliable energy supply and economic growth, urging authorities to maintain an uninterrupted supply of oil, especially under current constraints, to support the needs of the populace and essential services.
