CM, MLA wish Class XII students for exam

Chief Minister Y Khemchand extended his best wishes to the students, who are appearing in this year’s Class XII Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2026 to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur. In his message, CM Khemchand said, “As expressed by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, students should appear for examinations with a happy and stress-free disposition, like an ‘exam warrior’ and not an ‘exam worrier’. Although these examinations are crucial and important in shaping one’s career, students should never get stressed but treat exams as a celebration, creating a ‘stress-free’ environment. Though students need to study hard and prepare well for the exams to score good marks, it is important to compete only with one’s own self, not against anyone else”.

“At this critical juncture, parents and teachers must guide and support the young people and should not put undue pressure on them. Our young students must not be over-anxious but instead take the examinations with a calm mind,” the Chief Minister said. Nambol AC MLA Th Basanta Kumar also extended his best wishes to the students as they step into one of the most important milestones of their academic journey the Class X Board Examination and the Class XI & XII COHSEM Examination 2026. “Examinations are not just a test of knowledge, but also of perseverance, discipline and confidence.

Remember, success comes to those who prepare with dedication and face challenges with courage. Approach your exams with a calm mind, clarity of thought and faith in your hard work. You are the future of our society, and your achievements will shape the progress of our state and nation. I believe in your potential and encourage you to give your best with honesty and determination,” the MLA said in his message. “May your efforts be rewarded with success and may you continue to shine in all your future endeavors,” the MLA wished.
