Dheeraj Kumar, a distinguished actor, producer, and director, passed away at the age of 80 in Mumbai. He had been suffering from pneumonia and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to severe respiratory issues. Kumar was placed on ventilator support in the ICU. Born on October 1, 1944, he commenced his career in the entertainment industry in 1965 and was a finalist in a talent competition. He appeared in 21 Punjabi films from 1970 to 1984 and established Creative Eye, where he held the positions of chairman and managing director. He produced a variety of religious television series and programs, including “Om Namah Shivay,” “Adalat,” “Mili,” and “Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyan.” His family has conveyed their sorrow and condolences to his relatives and friends during this challenging time.
