Eight militants from various proscribed outfits were arrested by security forces in three districts of Manipur, according to police reports.
A proactive group associated with the prohibited PREPAK (VC-Red Army) was captured in Maharabi, located in the Imphal West district, on Friday. Additionally, two individuals belonging to SOREPA were detained in the Umathel region of Kakching, according to reports.
On Thursday, three active members of KCP (PWG) from various locations in Imphal West were arrested, along with two individuals affiliated with the banned KCP (Taibanganba) from Phumlou Mamang Leikai in Imphal West and Keibi Khullen village in the Imphal East district on Friday, according to a police officer.
