The values of sacrifice, self-discipline, forgiveness, and brotherhood that are reinforced during Ramadan guide us towards building a more inclusive and harmonious society,” the Governor said in his message.

“May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to all and strengthen the bonds of unity and harmony in the State,” the Governor wished. Chief Minister Y Khemchand also wished the people of the State, especially Muslim brothers and sisters, on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Fitr. In his message, Chief Minister Khemchand said, “Eid ul-Fitr marks the joyous culmination of Ramadan, a month-long period of fasting, spiritual reflection, and heightened devotion. It is usually celebrated on the second day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic Calendar, after the sighting of the new moon, by breaking their fast. The festival creates an atmosphere where one is encouraged to abstain from evil thoughts, words, and action and to become a better person. Celebrated with joy and festivity, Eid ul-Fitr is observed by offering prayers at Mosques, eating delicious dishes, doing charity, and exchanging gifts with friends and relatives”. “May all our prayers be answered on this auspicious day and may our lives be filled with peace, safety, health, happiness,” the Chief Minister prayed.
