The multi-format series will start on February 15 after the Indian women’s cricket squad landed in Australia. Three Twenty20 matches, three One-Day Internationals, and a historic one-off Test will all be part of India’s tour. Smriti Mandhana will remain vice-captain, while Harmanpreet Kaur will captain India in all formats. Indian cricket players were eager for the Australian tour in a video that the BCCI Women posted on Monday. Smriti, a top-order batsman, discussed the joyous celebrations following RCB’s second WPL championship and her feelings about returning to her country. “Very hectic, but worth it,” I would say. In a video that BCCI posted on X, she stated, “We had a lot of fun, but now back to national duty.”
