Intas Foundation, Imphal, observed World Cancer Day 2026 today at Intas Foundation – Apna Ghar, Keishamthong, Imphal West, reaffirming its commitment to people-centred cancer care and emotional support for patients and caregivers. The programmer was organized in alignment with the global theme “United by Unique,” emphasizing that every cancer journey is different, yet unity and compassion are vital in supporting those affected. Dr. Irom Anil Singh, Guest and Resource Person, conducted an interactive session with patients and caregivers, highlighting the importance of mental strength and positive thinking in cancer treatment. He emphasized that fear and negative thoughts can deeply impact patients and families, and encouraged participants to remain hopeful, emotionally strong, and united in their journey.
