Revenue from toll collection business stood at ₹536 crore in the same month last year, IRB said in an exchange filing. Its deputy CEO Amitabh Murarka said, “The 9% growth in toll revenue on a year-on-year basis can be attributed mainly to the holiday season across the country. Though pre-monsoon rains caused some marginal impact on traffic volumes during the latter part of the month, overall momentum remains strong.” This sustained growth is encouraging and is expected to continue in the coming months, supported by the addition of around 4.5 lakh new commercial and passenger vehicles across India in May 2025 and the completion of some ongoing projects in our portfolio, he added.

IRB is India’s first integrated infrastructure company in the highways segment.

It is the country’s largest integrated private toll road and highway infrastructure developer with assets worth over ₹80,000 crore across 12 states.
