The Manipur High Court has granted a one-month extension for the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to file a chargesheet in the unresolved Jiribam slughter case, which has been pending for over eight months. This case pertains to the abduction and slughter of six individuals, including three minors, that occurred in November 2024. The decision was made during a hearing on Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 18 of 2024, which was consolidated with Miscellaneous Case (PIL) No. 28 of 2025.
