National Conference on MedEngage Concludes at RIMS

The two-day National Conference on Med Engage: Uniting Clinicians and Engineers for Biomedical Innovation (Med Engage: UCEBI-2026) concluded at Banting Hall, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, successfully advancing interdisciplinary collaboration in biomedical research and healthcare technology. Jointly organized by National Institute of Technology Manipur, National Institute of Technology Haryana, and RIMS (18–19 February 2026), the conference brought together clinicians, engineers, researchers, academicians, innovators, and students for scientific sessions, technical presentations, and panel discussions on biomedical innovation, AI in healthcare, affordable technologies, and rural health solutions.

Keynote speakers highlighted clinician–engineer partnerships to address infectious diseases, NCDs, trauma care, and digital health transformation, emphasizing translational research, industry collaboration, start-up incubation, and student-driven innovation. In the valedictory session, dignitaries resolved to continue Med Engage as an annual platform, strengthen interdisciplinary research networks, promote joint academic programs, and advance innovation-driven healthcare aligned with national missions—integrating medical expertise with engineering innovation for transformative impact.
