Nissan Motor India has unveiled the All-New Tekton, its upcoming C-SUV designed to appeal directly to consumer preferences for style, comfort, and advanced technology. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Nissan Patrol, the Tekton combines bold design, premium craftsmanship, and modern features tailored to meet the expectations of Indian buyers. The name “Tekton,” meaning “craftsman” or “architect” in Greek, reflects Nissan’s dedication to precision engineering and consumer-focused innovation.
The Tekton is the second model under Nissan’s “One Car, One World” strategy and will be produced at the Chennai plant in partnership with Renault for domestic sale and selected exports. Its standout design elements include a muscular side profile, sculpted bonnet, signature C-shaped headlamps, rear illuminated lightbar, and subtle mountain-inspired accents on the front doors, creating a commanding and appealing SUV presence.
Analysts believe the launch could drive mid-size SUV adoption in the region, reflecting the growing consumer demand for vehicles combining performance, design, and advanced features. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan India, said, “The All-New Tekton is central to Nissan’s strategy to deliver vehicles that resonate with consumers across India, blending style, technology, and reliability.”
