Security forces arrested an active cadre of PREPAK (Pro), identified as Soyam Vicky Meitei alias Hitler alias Yangba (27) of Khurai Thongam Leikai from his residence under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East district. On the other hand, a Ghanian national, namely Konu Mendy Junior (26) was detained at Imphal International Airport along with an expired visa. From his possession, one PAN Card, one Aadhaar Card, one mobile phone, and one passport of the Republic of Ghana were seized. An FIR has been registered for further investigation under the relevant sections of the Foreigners Act. Meanwhile, a total of 115 Nakas/Check points were installed in different districts, both in the hills and the valley, however none was detained. Movement of 218 vehicles carrying essential items along NH-37 was ensured. Strict security measures were taken up in all vulnerable locations and security convoy was provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles
