The CMS-03 communication satellite, the biggest ever launched from Indian land into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO), is being carried by the LVM3-M5 rocket, called “Bahubali” as it is often known. ISRO keeps writing success after achievement. Jitendra Singh wrote, “Thank you, PM Modi, for the unwavering government support.”
The Indian Navy’s GSAT 7R (CMS-03) communication satellite was launched by ISRO. With a weight of almost 4,400 kg, the domestically built satellite is the heaviest communication satellite ever built by India. At 5:26 p.m., the launch occurred from the Satish Dhawan Space Station’s second launch pad in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. With indigenous, cutting-edge components created especially to satisfy the Indian Navy’s operational needs, the satellite would improve the Navy’s space-based communications and marine domain awareness capabilities.
