Department of Community Medicine, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal conducted the World Health Day Quiz in connection with World Health Day to be celebrated on April 7 on the theme “Together for Health: Stand with Science,” under the aegis of IAPSM (Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine).
The event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Shantibala K, Prof. & Head, Department of Community Medicine, RIMS, Imphal. The event was graced by, Dr. G. Sunilkumar Sharma, Director RIMS, Imphal and Prof. L Rajesh Singh, Dean (Academics),
There were total of 11 participants from MBBS Phase 3 Part 1, comprising of 4 teams. The quiz competition consisted of four rounds-: Round 1 – MCQ Round, Round 2 – Visual Round, Round 3 – One word based Round and Round 4- Rapid Fire Round
Results The winner of the quiz was Team B- Buhmon Dkhar, Bhashasree Saha and Bidyananda Thoudam. They will be representing RIMS, Imphal at the Regional level quiz on World Health Day.
Winners were awarded with prizes and certificate of participation. It is believed that this initiatives will contribute to enhancing public health orientation among undergraduate student while fostering a culture of scientific thinking, evidence-based learning, and healthy academic competition.
