As part of the 3-month long national campaign, the launching program of “Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 ’, was held at DTC Hall, M. Songgel, for Tuibong Aspirational Blocks, Churachandpur today. Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, IAS attended the program as chief guest and launched the program. The event was organised by the District Administration, Churachandpur, under the supervision of Jangminlen Lupho, Block Development Officer.
The Deputy Commissioner led oath taking (pledge) of Sampoornata Abhiyan. Speaking as chief guest, he said that Sampoornata Abhiyan is not just a scheme and delivery but a participation of people, going to the public and delivering services. He also urged the participants that with the launching of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, the people of Tuibong Block to participate in the whole process of the schemes also contribute to Tuibong block development to avail the opportunities.
In his opening remarks, Jangminlen Lupho, BDO, Tuibong, highlighted the achievements of Sampoornata Abhiyan 1.0 schemes in Tuibong blocks and setting the stage for the launch of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0. He attributed the achievements to the relentless efforts and dedication of the people of Tuibong Block, saying their commitment made the progress possible.
The event featured experience-sharing sessions where workers from various departments shared their on-ground experience s and successes from Sampoornata Abhiyan 1.0, showcasing collaborative efforts towards the development of Tuibong Block.
During the programme, the video presentation highlighted on Sampoornata Abhiyan 1.0 ‘s impactful initiatives, including ICDS nutrition supply, animal vaccination drives, health check-ups for hypertension and diabetis, soil health testing, special needs of children, girls’ toilet facilities, showcasing the program’s multifaceted progress in Tuibong block.
Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, campaign focused on achieving 100% saturation of key development indicators in Aspirational Blocks and Districts such as health, nutrition, education, animal vaccination and sanitation in most underdeveloped districts and blocks. It also focused on full saturation, no eligible beneficiary should be left out with development initiatives. The three-month campaign began on January 28 will be continued till April 14.
The launching ceremony was enthusiastically attended by members of the Steering committee-ABP, DLOs, BLOs, teachers, Supervisors, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, representative from top-performing SHGs and Village Chiefs from Tuibong Sub-Division of Churachandpur district.
