The first group of pilgrims from the Amarnath Yatra arrive in Chanderkote at a “Langar”

The first group of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims was cordially received by the Ramban district’s district administration at a “Langar” location near Chanderkote. The devotees were welcomed on their way to Amarnath by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban (DKR) Range Shridhar Patil, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban, Arjun Singh Raju, Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, Service Selection Board (SSP) Ramban, Kulbir Singh, SSP Traffic NHW Raja Adil Hamid, and other guests.

According to Ramban MLA Arjun Singh Raju, the administration has performed admirably. He recalled how the Pahalgam attack sparked worries about regional safety and security. “The Ramban Administration has put together such wonderful arrangements for the Shri Amarnath Yatra,” he stated. This Yatra is a worthy response to the Pahalgam terrorist tragedy. Earlier, the first group of pilgrims for the Shri Amarnath Yatra was flagged off by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu & Kashmir.

LG Sinha said prayers at the Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu prior to launching the Yatra. The air was filled with chanting of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bam Bam Bhole” as the pilgrims left. “Thousands of devotees have come here for Baba Amarnath Darshan,” BJP leader Sat Sharma remarked in response to the commencement of the Amarnath Yatra. A different atmosphere was established only two months ago, but as we can see, the followers are shouting Baba Bhole’s chants. The populace believes they are in capable hands.
