Security forces arrested an active cadre of PREPAK, identified as Khundrakpam Anilkumar Singh alias Manganglakpa (21) of Sawombung Thongkhong from Phaknung Awang Leikai under Lamlai-PS, Imphal East district. A mobile phone was seized from him.
SecuritySecurity forces also arrested an active cadre of KYKL from the Yairipokthe Yairipok Lamkhai area in Thoubal. The arrested cadre has been identified as Ibungomacha Laishram,Laishram, alias Rocky,Rocky, alias Ibomcha (43) (43),of Gaili village, Peren, Nagaland (43),Nagaland,presently staying at Singjamei Yumnam Leikai, Imphal West district. A mobile phone along with a SIM card was seized from him.
Security forces also arrested an active cadre of PREPAK (Pro), namely Khaidem Narendra Singh,Nagaland,Singh, alias Angou,Angou, alias Maikeingakpa (29), of Wangoi Khaidem Leikai, Imphal West district, from his residence under Wangoi-PS.
From his possession, one 9 mm pistol along with a magazine, four 9 mm ammunition rounds, and one mobile phone along with a SIM card were recovered.
On the other hand, Manipur Police recovered a two-wheeler Honda Activa from the Mayang Imphal area that was reportedly stolen on February 11 last from the jurisdiction of Patsoi-PS, Imphal West district.
Meanwhile, security forces continued to conduct search operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas across districts.
