Security forces apprehended two active militants of KCP (Apunba) in separate operations within Imphal West and Imphal East districts. Thaodem Jackson Singh (21) from Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai was arrested at his home, while Angom Vidyananda Singh (20) from Khurai Thangjam Leikai was taken into custody at his residence. Authorities seized two mobile phones and an Aadhaar card during the arrests. Additionally, an active PREPAK cadre, Khaidem Toni Singh @Ibungo (42), was also arrested from Moirang Khunou Makha Leikai in Bishnupur district. In a related search operation in the Khulsaibung hill range of Tengnoupal district, security forces recovered significant weaponry, including a single barrel gun, two pistols with magazines, eight IEDs, 41 rounds of assorted ammunition, and two Baofeng Radios.
