With the objective of a healthy, wealthy ,powerful and dynamic society, the United Peoples’ Front (UPF) Manipur is organising an Open Mega Marathon for all citizens on April 12 next, in Imphal.The event is to be organised under the aegis of Athletics Association of Manipur, carrying the theme, “Run for Your Nation”.
Citizens from all communities, irrespective of age, sex, students and non-students, can participate at the event, said a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of the UPF.
The press statement of this socio-economic, cultural and political development organisation further states that registration forms for participation in the event can be had from various points located at different places throughout the State.
The Registration Forms will be made available at UPF’s Head Office, Keishamthong; Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium, Room No.29; Leima Book Store, Nambol Bazar; Yellow Machinery Centre, Thoubal Mela-ground; Yk Printers, Khurai Lamlong Thongkhong; Yai Bros Book Store, Yairipok Laimanai Thongkhong; Radhika Pharmacy. Moirang Keithel; and Nandani Book Store at Bishnupur Keithel, added the press statement.
