Actor Akshay Kumar is not seen talking about his children in public. He kept his son Arav and daughter Nitara away from the public eye. But Akshay talked about his children in an interview recently. He said that his son, Arav, has no plans to enter the acting world. Rather, he wants to make his own place in the fashion world.
At the age of 15, Arav went to study abroad. But Akshay did not want his son to leave home at such a young age. He says, “My son Arav is studying at a university in London. He left home at the age of 15. He loves to study very much. Likes to be alone. He himself wanted to study abroad. I didn’t want to, though. I couldn’t stop him because I myself left home at the age of 14.”
Akshay said that his son is very independent. Likes to do all the housework by himself. According to the actor, “He washes his own clothes. It cooks very well. Wash the dishes yourself. Does not like to wear very expensive clothes. Buy from second-hand clothing stores. He doesn’t like to spoil things.”
Arav has no plans to enter the film industry. The actor says, “We didn’t impose anything on him. He is interested in fashion. He doesn’t want to act. He himself told me that he does not want to act. I said, Life is yours. Akshay also praised his wife, Twinkle Khanna, in this regard. The actor says, “I am happy with the way Twinkle and I are raising Arav. He is a very ordinary boy. On the other hand, my daughter loves to dress up again.”
