New Delhi: Gold futures on Monday rose by Rs 196 to Rs 1,00,034 per 10 grams on fresh buying by speculators amid strong spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery rose by Rs 196, or 0.2 percent, to Rs 1,00,034 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,789 lots.
Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery in New York rose 0.58 percent to $3,355.6400 an ounce.
