Keeping in view the convenience caused to the general public and their urgent requirement of transportation between Ukhrul and Imphal, the Government of Manipur has scheduled one sortie of special helicopter service for Tuesday i.e. February 10 for Imphal-Ukhrul-Imphal. As per an order issued by the Additional Chief Secretary (Transport), the Government is also working on scheduling two helicopter sorties on Wednesday i.e. February 11 for Imphal-Ukhrul-Imphal. These special helicopter services are scheduled over and above the regular schedule. It advised the passengers to carry minimum luggage, because in helicopter maximum weight allowed is 7 kg per passenger. The passengers are further advised to contact the Nodal Officer (Heli Service), Office of DC (Ukhrul) at contact No. 8732851945 for any query related to booking and schedule of operations. The Government of Manipur is committed to provide seamless services of transportation to the people of the State, the order stated.
