Hill Areas Committee to Keep Track of Exam Centres in Heirok AC

Heirok Apunba Club, the apex body of various clubs in Heirok under Thoubal district, has resolved to deploy its volunteers at the examination centres in Heirok to ensure a free and fair conduct of the upcoming board examinations. With the objective of encouraging students studying in schools in Heirok to perform well and to promote quality education from the grassroots level, the volunteers of Heirok Apunba Club will monitor the examination process. The Class XII Higher Secondary Examination and the Class X Examination, commencing from February 17, will be held at Heirok Higher Secondary School and Heirok High School, which have been designated as examination centers. Volunteers of the club will remain present at both centers. The club has also appealed to local bodies, students’ unions and other organizations not to interfere in the examination process. From the first day of the examinations until their conclusion, guardians have been requested not to gather within a radius of 300 meters of the two examination centers in connection with the exams. Teachers at coaching institutes located near the centers have also been cautioned not to assist students in any form of unfair means for personal gain. The club further stated that any individual found engaging in unwanted activities or attempting to influence the examination process in collusion with teachers or invigilators will face strict action.
