L&T Bags Mega Offshore Hydrocarbon Contract for Engineering and Construction Work

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) offshore hydrocarbon business has secured an ultra-mega order worth more than ₹15,000 crore from ADNOC Offshore for a major project in West Asia. The company announced the development on Tuesday, marking another significant milestone for its energy infrastructure business.

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) will execute the project through a consortium arrangement and will serve as the lead partner. The project involves the development of multiple offshore facilities aimed at enhancing existing energy infrastructure in the region.

As part of the contract, LTEH Offshore will undertake a major portion of the project scope, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of offshore facilities. The work will also involve upgrading existing facilities to support operational improvements.

A substantial part of the fabrication activities will be carried out at L&T’s advanced fabrication yards. The company will leverage its integrated capabilities across engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning to deliver the project efficiently.

The latest order further strengthens L&T’s position in the global offshore hydrocarbon sector and highlights its expertise in executing large-scale and complex energy projects. The contract is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s order book while reinforcing its presence in international markets. The project also reflects the growing collaboration between Indian engineering companies and global energy players in developing critical offshore infrastructure.
