Malpractice in Assam government exams to be awarded up to 10 years jail

To ensure transparency and fairness in public recruitment in Assam government examinations, Assam government has decided to introduced Public Examination Act in the state.

About the newly implementated act, the act prohibits malpractice with penalties of up to 10 years imprisonment and fines up to ₹10 crore, and examinees found guilty may also be barred from future examinations.

Assam Direct Recruitment Examination, 2024 (ADRE) is about to take place on September 15 for Grade III and Grade IV.
