Manipur’s active COVID cases fall to 41 as 263 recoveries are made

According to the most recent report from the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), Manipur is making progress against COVID-19, with the number of active cases falling to 41. As recoveries continue to surpass active cases, a total of 263 people have recovered and been released. Out of the 23 samples analyzed, 2 new positive cases were found, indicating an 8.7% daily positivity rate. From June 1, 2025, to this point, 304 COVID-19 instances have been registered in the state. Imphal West district continues to record the most instances, with Imphal East and Bishnupur districts following closely behind. There haven’t been any COVID-19-related fatalities in the state as of yet, and the majority of the active cases are in home isolation.
