E3 has officially entered India’s electric two-wheeler market with the launch of its first electric scooter, the Trion. The Bengaluru-based startup has priced the scooter from Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) and introduced it in three variants — C1, C1x and C2. The new model combines smart technology, modern styling and a claimed riding range of up to 165 km.
The E3 Trion features a contemporary design highlighted by dual projector LED headlamps and LED tail lamps. It also comes with an IP67-rated weather-resistant construction, making it suitable for different riding conditions. Customers can choose from six paint options — Solar Red, Misty Green, Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey and Luna White. The company says the scooter provides a total storage capacity of 52 litres.
Inside the cockpit, the scooter gets a 5-inch LCD instrument display integrated with E3’s AI-based TripSense platform. The system connects with a smartphone to provide features such as navigation, route planning with charging station information, remote battery monitoring, vehicle controls, dashcam support, SOS assistance and geofencing.
The Trion lineup is offered with two battery configurations. The base C1 variant comes with a removable 2.3 kWh battery pack, while the C1x and C2 variants use a larger fixed 3 kWh battery.
E3 has claimed a maximum riding range of up to 165 km for the C1x variant. The company is yet to reveal the certified range of the C1 and C2 models, as well as the output figures of the electric motor.
With the launch of the Trion, E3 aims to attract buyers looking for a connected and practical electric scooter. The combination of AI-enabled features, multiple battery options and a competitive starting price is expected to strengthen the brand’s presence in India’s fast-growing EV market.
