RIMS Issues Statement, Dismisses Claims of Fake Recruitment

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal has announced that a fake notification is circulating on social media, falsely claiming that Lourembam Jessica Devi has been appointed as a Staff Nurse at the institute. Another fraudulent notification dated February 12, allegedly signed by the Deputy Director (Admin), mentions a “personnel interaction” for staff positions. RIMS has officially stated that these notifications are unauthorized and invalid, emphasizing that the recruitment for Staff Nurse positions is solely conducted through the NORCET exam, supervised by AIIMS, New Delhi.

The institute has condemned these misleading actions which aim to confuse candidates and the public. RIMS has urged citizens to not believe or disseminate these false documents and warned that creating and sharing forged official notifications is a serious crime that could lead to severe legal repercussions. All legitimate recruitment information from RIMS is disseminated through its authorized channels: the official website (https://www.rims.edu.in), email (director@rims.edu.in), and notice boards on campus.
