On Monday, security forces conducted a search operation at Tentha Erel Ching under Khongjom-PS in Thoubal district, where they recovered a cache of weapons. This included one SMG carbine with a magazine, three bolt-action rifles, two SBBL, a .32 pistol with a magazine, a live .32 round, a 9 mm blank cartridge, and three helmets. Additionally, in a separate operation in the general area between T. Bollok and L. Molhoi village under Chakpikarong-PS in Chandel district, security forces recovered more arms including one G-3 rifle with an empty magazine, three locally made lathode guns, two single-barrel guns, three locally made pompi shells, four pompi guns, two carbines with empty magazines, two magazine pouches, 55 live rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition for an AK rifle, eight Baofang radio sets, and one dagger with a cover.
