An Indian Air Force helicopter successfully delivered essential supplies to Santing, Saichang, and other villages impacted by several landslides along the Churachandpur–Tipaimukh Road (NH 102B), which is a crucial route for the Kuki-Zo community in the Churachandpur district of Manipur.
The relief effort, spearheaded by the District Administration of Churachandpur, was carried out in close collaboration with the Home Department, the Relief and Disaster Management Department, and the Indian Air Force. This operation, overseen by Letzamang Haokip, showcased the government’s dedication to providing prompt assistance during emergencies.
Restoration activities at the ground level are currently in progress, and the District Administration extends its appreciation to the Indian Air Force, the State Disaster Management Authority, Assam Rifles, and other relevant departments that participated in the operation.
