After arrest of two youths by security forces earlier in connection with hurling of hand grenade at the Elidas Fuel Station of Moirang Thana Leikai on January 8 last, Manipur police commandos have arrested another person who is said involved in the same incident.
This third arrestee was picked up from Lamphel Sana Keithel under the jurisdiction of Lamphel police station,Imphal west district. He is identified as Pukhrambam Bimol alias Inaobi (41) from Wangoo Sabal Mayai Leikai of Kakching district.
Police recovered a number of arms and ammunition from his possession, a police statement added.
Earlier, one Hijam Manichandra (35) from Waikhong Chingdong Leikai of Kakching district and Pukhrambam Rabi (39) from Wangoo Sabal Awang Leikai,Kakching were arrested in connection with the incident.
