Manipur DGP Mukesh Singh inaugurated a two-day training programme on the implementation of the e-Office system at the Police Headquarters on Wednesday.
In his inaugural address, the DGP highlighted the importance of digital governance and stated that the adoption of the e-Office system would enhance efficiency, transparency, accountability and paperless functioning within the organisation.
He emphasised that the training programme marked the first step towards the successful rollout of e-Office in Manipur Police and urged all participants to actively engage in the training and become familiar with the new digital workflows.
The programme is being conducted with the help of resource persons from the IT Department.
Senior police officers and personnel from various sections of the Police Headquarters attended the training.
The officers are expected to play a key role in the phased implementation of the e-Office system across Manipur Police.
